The Practice

The Building

We’ve upgraded this Georgian building so that it retains its original listed charm (there isn’t a right-angle in sight, for example) but is now completely refurbished for therapeutic use; the walls have been re-plastered, acoustic and thermal insulation installed together with basins in some rooms and powerful new high-output radiators. It is comfortably furnished and all the necessary equipment is provided. There is no disabled access.

The Layout

The clinic consists of a waiting room, a loo with shower, a small utility room (with a sink and tea-making facilities) together with three therapy rooms and access to the garden in summer.

Practical arrangements

For the first six months we’ll just provide the rooms and the essential equipment; therapists will be responsible for managing their own practice and affairs. We’ll supply most of the consumables and, for a small charge, blankets and towels if you need them; otherwise just bring your own.

The day is divided into 3 four-hour sessions
